Thanks for the email, I really enjoyed the scripture from Nephi. I want to look that up when I get home. Riley is doing good it seems with the basketball, tell him to keep working hard and to never give up. You're going to Anaheim this week, sounds like a fun trip. Are you going to stay at Uncle Dan's? I know you'll eventually see them for a bit. I am glad to hear that things are going good, keep in mind that the Lord will bring blessing and we can receive blessings abundantly depending on the obedience and honor we give to God.
Today I am writing so late because we got permission to go to Manchester in the city and shop for Elder Caballero who was given money to get a new suit and some clothing for when he gets home. He leaves in another three and a half weeks, crazy. I also got myself a pair of shoes for a really good price. The shoes I have now are starting to wear out and I thought it would be a great opportunity to get something for really cheap when I have the chance. They were £5 and I think they should last me for a while.
Things have been good in Rossendale Valley for the last week. I feel we really have reached out to the members and especially the recent converts. I also am kind of sad because we have lost contact with our only progressing investigator, Yvette. We have tried by her several times this week and there is no answer to the door and also called her and she will not pick up. I think the worst part about it is that we don't even know why this is happening and we cant resolve any concerns if there is concerns or not. I pray for her and for inspiration on what we need to do to help her and continue teaching about the restored gospel.
Last week we had a family home evening and it was quite a turn out. We had two recent converts, two members, and an entire member family who also have a less active along to the meeting. We had such a great experience and we had a lesson on faith and how we must nourish it like it were a seed. We also played some games and developed good relationships between one another. I think it was a great success.
The exchange that I had planned with the Zone leaders got canceled. There is, however, and exchange with the district leader tomorrow which I am really happy about and I know miracles will happen. I am a firm believer in miracles during companionship exchanges with the experiences I have had in the past.
