Thanks for writing me again, I really enjoy reading your emails. I am now on the third Cd called Then Sings My Soul. This one is so great and every morning when I listen to it I feel the spirit so strong. It has some of my favorite songs like How great thou art, Lead kindly light, nearer my God to thee, and how firm a foundation. All just so good.
Sounds like Riley had a good tournament. He must really be coming on strong with the basketball. Just let me know when you think he may be taller than e because I think I am growing a bit too, so I am giving him a run for his money. I heard about Jimmer from one of the members, they really like basketball and they are such a great family. I am glad for Jimmer getting on a team that I am ok with him being on, haha. At least he has a good chance to redeem himself at the next level.
We haven't had any new investigators or even a lesson with an investigator now for about two weeks. It can be a little bit frustrating but we have a few potentials this week that I am looking forward to meeting and sharing the message of the restored gospel. I'll let you know how they go next week.
I got to go on an exchange with Elder Wright in Burnley and it was such a great success. We even had a new investigator when we went finding. We got to teach this young man about age 17 and he invited us to come into his home. It was such a great lesson and he wants to learn more. I am a firm believer in miracles when an exchange happens. I have seen a few dozen of them when I have been on exchanges in the past. I am looking forward to my next exchange in Chorley with Elder Jolliffe.
There is a great member in our ward named Robin Knowles. I can just tell he loves to be with the missionaries and he cares for us so much. He made me a Birthday dinner that was just fantastic (even though it was a few weeks late, he wanted to do it right). It was American style burgers and fries and I really loved it and for dessert he bought me a cake and made me a cheesecake, so that a total of two cakes. He also made us an updated ward list with a number reference, 1 being an active member and 4 being an inactive member that has no contact. Also, he highlighted all the YSA in the ward. We are now able to use this to our advantage and make things happen through the ward list. He is also taking us out today top go see the view of the valley, it is a clear blue sky and it feels like home. Ill get picture for you to see next week.

I am now in Jacob in my B of M challenge and I really am learning a ton. I love it so much. Also that talk that i was reading, which i am still studying because it is so good, is in December of 1980. I am not sure if it was the 19th but check and see. It is that good you must read it. I have learned so much about the atonement the last two weeks and It isn't coincidence at all. Zone conference was all about the atonement and it was great. Gospel Doctrine class in church was too. I have a great appreciation for what the Savior has done for all of us and I understand how it all works more fully. There is still a lot to learn though.
Well I hope you have a great week, tell everyone I said hi. Take care

Happy Fathers Day! I didn't know when it was in America because the UK has a different day for mothers day. But it sounds like they are the same for fathers day, which was yesterday. Hope you really enjoyed it. I have moved on to the second Cd, which is called Love is spoken here. I absolutely love this Cd, the songs on it reminds me of when i was young because it has a lot of primary songs on it. I listen to it every morning when my companion is in the bathroom showering and shaving his face, so I get a good 45 minutes.
Sounds like Riley has some big games coming up, yeah! tell him to give it his all. My talk was great, i gave it on the Book of Mormon and how it testifies of Christ. I used a lot of preach my gospel on page 105 and used a bunch of scriptures from the study box. It was a great experience and a lot easier than my farewell talk, i think its because there was only about forty people there.
I got a bday present from Nila, she is so nice and I got a new Cd to add to my collection. Song of the Savior Vol. III, Oh Yeah! I haven't listened to it yet but i can tell its going to be a good one.
We got a hold of Rick on the phone the other day. Some strange news that he was kicked out of his home because he didn't pay the full rent for his home. Now he is in Heely, which I'm not positive is in our area, but we are trying to meet him at the church building because he works at the Tesco right next to it. So We missed him today which we were scheduled to see him at 12:30 and share a review lesson of the restoration. But we never saw him and his phone was off, so I'm worried for him. Last time we talked he said he wanted to meet with us and he is still interested, which is good. We just need to meet with him now and help him resolve conflicts so we can meet with him more ofter.
Some sad news, David and Rita had dropped us. I am not entirely sure why but we will try by them soon enough and talk to them about it. Rita mentioned that she was not interested in coming to church. I hope everything is okay with them.
I had been studying this morning on a talk from Elder Skousen on the topic of the Atonement and why it was necessary. It goes into deep detail and I can get a great image of what he is talking about and when I read. It also talks about the miracles that Jesus performed and how we must honor our Priesthood to have the authority to heal and to perform miracles like what Jesus did, according to Gods will. I am learning a lot from it I really enjoy reading that talk. Illhave to send you a copy when i get a chance.
Well i hope you have a great week and I am so glad to hear from you next week already.
And thank you and the family for giving me so much support and love.
Much love from your son, Elder Tucker Corbin

Thanks for the birthday wishes and also for the gift. I opened it up on Saturday morning and popped in the first Mo-Tab Cd and listened to it ever since. I am still on the first Cd, Peace like a River, such a good Cd. I love the song on there a Child's Prayer. It reminds me when I was young in primary and we would sing that song every other week. Ill rotate the Cd's in every week because i cant wait to hear them all but i didn't want to spoil them either so ill take my time on them.We didn't go to the choir concert because you have to have an investigator with you in order to go but we couldn't get anyone to come with us. But we did play some football with the ward members and recent converts. Then we went and got a chocolate cake to eat at lunch time, so good. I have a picture ill sent it to you.Sounds like Riley is doing great and having a lot of fun. That is so good, keep up the great work! This week we went and stopped by an investigator this week named Rita, who has known the missionaries for a long time and that is because her husband, David, was a member until his name was taken off the list. They are so nice and say we are always welcome to come and visit. We had a great lesson with them which was focused on the Book of Mormon and its truth. We watched Jeffery R. Holland's talk from the Sunday afternoon session of October 2009 General Conference. It was all about the Book of Mormon and I feel we really got the message to them that it is the Book of Mormon which everything relies on. That is why it is the keystone. If the Book of Mormon is true, then everything in the church is true, from the prophet Joseph Smith to the modern day revelations of Thomas S. Monson. They really thought about that and we committed them to study from the Book of Mormon everyday and promised them that their testimonies will grow.
We also met a new investigator who is really prepared to hear the message of the restored gospel. His name is Rick, and we found him at the bus stop just across the street from the church building. We talked to him for a bit then the bus came and we couldn't get his contact details in time so we just got on the bus with him. Eventually, we walked all the way to his home and taught him the first lesson. He was so excited about the Book of Mormon and we committed him to be baptised and to come to church. Unfortunately, he was called into work Sunday morning and couldn't make it so we are planning to see him this week.I am now in 2 Nephi on the Book of Mormon challenge. I am learning so much from it. I just put fifteen minutes of my personal study time in to it and I am making a lot of progress on it. I look forward to it every morning. I didn't get to this morning because I was preparing my talk I have to give this weekend in sacrament. It is a good one, Ill tell you how it goes next week.Until then, I hope you have a great week.Love , Elder Tucker Corbin

Thanks for writing me. I look forward to them every week.So i have some news fro you and the whole family. As you may know that i didn't write on Monday because this week is the end of the transfer period (every 6 weeks). And guess what I got transferred. I was so confident that I was staying in Rhyl and Elder Eliason was leaving to another area, but to my surprise I have been moved to a new area.
I am now in an area called Rossendale Valley in Rawtenstall England. I have a great new companion too. His name is Elder Caballero and he is from Alicante, Spain. Serving in my new area is very different and I am still adjusting to the change. I am so excited to serve with my new companion. He is such a Pure in Heart missionary. You can just tell how much he loves the work. We have a lot in common and we are making great progress on becoming great friends.
The last week and a half has gone very well. Although with the transfer and all I am still adjusting to the new area. A lot of good things has happened in my last week in Rhyl. One is that I had an exchange with Elder Cai (From China till he was 11, and also Las Vegas), who is an excellent missionary. When he bus contacts you can hear him all the way up in the front and then you look back and his smile is what draws your attention. He is one of the nicest people in the mission too. We had a great meal with a member in the ward and it was a very sacred experience because we talked about their conversion stories and how much history there is in Whales with missionaries in the past. It was a great exchange and one to remember.
Liam, our progressing investigator, is probably the nicest person in Rhyl. He is so heart felt and he cares for those around him. He takes great love for his mother and helps her out all the time. He loves and misses his son who he hasn't seen for eight years. He has trouble believing in God still but we can tell that his faith is growing. He still is having a serious problem with alcohol abuse and we are trying to help him overcome that. His whole purpose to meeting with us is to be a better person and because he likes us and says that we are nice. He really is so nice though because he got me a going away gift which was a Liverpool football jersey (approx. £55/$80). Its not brand new but it was his and I will cherish it forever. I will miss him now that I am not in Rhyl anymore.
I have studied this week on Immortality and learned a lot about it. Also I brushed up on some of the stuff I had learned in seminary. I looked at the scripture in Moses 1:39 a lot and really got into great detail of that scripture. It helped me understand that immortality is a given gift from God to everyone and that it is all apart of his plan for us. It also made me think how much love he has for each of his children.
Sports Day was the best. We played Football, American Football, and basketball. It was so fun, literally all day we played sports. And for lunch we had costco pizza. sooo good. I had a lot of fun that day and I met a lot of new missionaries.
I got Tyler's picture from the mail. He has a great new family. I am so excited for him. Tell him to keep working hard and I miss him. What a champion!
So I am very excited about this transfer. New area, new companion, new opportunities. Wish me luck and keep me in your prayers. I will do the same. Love you millions. Have a great weekend. talk to you on Monday!Love Elder Corbin
